ease of doing business
Whether your business is already operating in a certain market, or looking to do so, we’ll help you understand the ease of doing business.
Our proprietary Operational Risk Index quantifies business environment risks, allowing clients to identify and compare where each market ranks regionally and globally, supporting benchmarking and risk evaluation workflows.
The Operational Risk Index is now utilized in Fitch Ratings Bank Rating Criteria, instead of the World Bank Doing Business rankings, which have been discontinued.
Detailed research reports for over 90 countries
across four dimensions of risk
Assess the availability and flexibility of skilled labour for your business, with comparisons of education systems, labour costs, demographics, employment rates and legislation, social security, public healthcare systems, and unionisation.
Understand the strengths and weaknesses of each country’s supply chain and transport and utilities infrastructure, revealing the implications for your business when manufacturing, distributing, or contracting services in different markets.
Evaluate the trade policies and agreements, legal systems, and banking and taxation requirements that could impact your operations, helping you compare and prioritize the most attractive markets for investment.
In Fitch Solutions new Annual Global Business Environment Report we publish our latest Global Operational Risk Rankings along with key emerging market and developed market profiles.
